Jeffrey Rabin – an attorney licensed in Illinois in 1980, has focused his law practice in the representation of disabled individuals seeking benefits under the Social Security Act.   Mr. Rabin founded Jeffrey A. Rabin & Associates, Ltd. in 1988 and has represented clients nationwide at all levels of the administrative process, and in the federal courts. In April 2012 Mr. Rabin joined the Board of Directors of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)– DuPage County Chapter and in 2016 became Chairperson of the Board of Directors, a position he still holds. He was elected in August 2015 as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Alliance to End Homelessness in Suburban Cook County.  In 2000 Secretary of Health and Human Services Donna Shalala appointed Mr. Rabin as a member of the department’s Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Coordinating Committee.  He has served as Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia and Chemical Sensitivity Coalition of Chicago (CFCCC) and served for many years on the Board of the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Society of Illinois.  Jeff has also served as a member of the Northern Illinois Multiple Sclerosis Society Professional Advisory Committee and on its Advocacy Committee. Mr. Rabin has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of Congregation B’nai Tikvah in Deerfield, IL. In May 2013 Mr. Rabin received the Volunteer Advocate of the Year award from the Lupus Foundation of Illinois. He has lectured a number of times for the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR)  He has testified before Congress on Social Security issues and was featured in a “60 Minutes” story on this area of the law.  He has also had articles published in a variety of publications.   Mr. Rabin has spoken to groups sponsored by the Lupus Foundation, American Cancer Society, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Gilda’s Club, The Arthritis Foundation, the National Kidney Foundation, the National Alliance on Mental Illness and many others. Mr. Rabin is also the Principal of PR Legal Marketing, Inc. a marketing firm for litigation law firms nationwide.  In this role he assists as a consultant to small and medium sized law firms on marketing and law office operation. Jeff graduated from DePaul University College of Law in 1980, and the University of Missouri – Columbia in 1977 with a Bachelor of Journalism degree.

Dr. Lori Siegel – is a board-certified rheumatologist who provides treatment for all autoimmune conditions, including ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and scleroderma. She provides advanced treatments, including ultrasound-guided injections, and also is able to refer patients to clinical trials of promising new medications being conducted by her IBJI rheumatology colleagues.

Fascinated by science and the workings of the human body, Dr. Siegel wanted to be a physician from the time she was six years old. She chose to specialize in rheumatology because it is a field of medicine in which doctors and patients work together as a team. Approachable and easy to confide in, Dr. Siegel stresses building a partnership with her patients, many of whom have conditions that are difficult to diagnosis. She listens to them carefully to understand the entirety of their condition and its effects. Through this approach, even if curative treatments aren’t available, she can identify the best coping strategies for each patient. Prior to joining IBJI, Dr. Siegel spent 15 years as a member of the faculty at the Chicago Medical School, where she was chief of rheumatology and assistant dean of education.
