I’m a life long entrepreneur—I’ve run a business nearly all of my adult life. Just before starting this business (Kontent Engine), I sold another that I started from scratch (Project Ricochet). It was one of Inc. Magazines fastest growing companies and was doing 2.6 million/year when I sold. It still exists today.

After I sold I noticed the rise of video and social media, but I had zero knowledge on how to use them. Beyond that I was terrified of video.

Fast forward a couple of years and now I’ve successfully started another business in a totally new field (as a content marketer) and I’ve used video to do it.

I’ve had a ton of help to get here. I’ve purchased courses, hired coaches and joined masterminds (like Quantum hosted by Sam Ovens).

I’ve also made a ton of mistakes along the way.

One thing I regret was spending too much time looking for the perfect system and always feeling like I was missing something.

I learned a lot from courses and coaches—but frankly I made the most progress when:

a) I focused on what mattered

b) kept things simple (and)

c) I did the work.

It can be that easy if you let it.

Now I have a unique business, great clients, and a life I love.
